Sport, Leisure and Tourism Information Sources somewhat obtuse layout. It has clearly evident links to all the institutional websites mentioned above and an excellent ecent additionssection.E u rotext: http://eu rotext. u I st.ac.u I i ndex. h t m I dAnother site well worth visiting is the Eurotext site at the University of Ulster. Eurotext is a joint project between the Universities of Ulster and Hull, designed to provide a resource bank of learning materials on Europe, through the provision of full-text EU documents on the Web. As such it is primarily aimed at students, although others looking for information on tourism in particular may find it useful. As yet there appear to be no documents on Eurotext which relate to sport or the leisure industry, but the coverage of tourism, whilst still developing, is already excellent. Two UK companies have established themselves as market leaders in the commercial provision of official EU information via CD-ROM. The companies concerned are ILI and Context. Their addresses and website URLs are included in the appendices at the end of this chapter. The author is much more familiar with the ILI products, but in practice both companiesproducts offer flexible searching of databases mentioned earlier in the chapter. Commercial researchers may wish to consider taking out subscriptions to one or more of the CD-ROMs. Individuals are more likely to want to consult them in relation to specific questions, and are more likely to want to visit an institution which has a subscription to the relevant CD-ROM and makes the product available to visitors. It is likely that many UK European Documentation Centres, or their equivalents in other parts of the world, will allow access to one or more of the CD-ROM products mentioned below, but it is always worth telephoning first to make sure of availability and access.Eurolaw (ILI) and CELEX (Context)These are CD-ROM equivalents of the primarily full-text CELEX database of EU legislation and case law. Benefits of the CD-ROM versions include easier and more flexible search options, superior links between related documents, and the additional availability of related information from the UK Government Department of Trade and Industry. The CD-ROMs can be updated on either quarterly or monthly subscriptions, so those looking for really up-to-date information will have to make use of the Web version of CELEX.176
